An alleged teenage rapist “stalked” his victim before committing a horrific sexual assault

An alleged teenage rapist stalked his young victim and watched pornography of sleeping girls in the days before terrorizing her in her own bed.

Samuel Aldrich has pleaded guilty to a brutal attack on a schoolgirl whose experience was described by a judge as “hell”.

The victim’s foster parents sat in court just meters away from their daughter’s rapist.

They heard the shocking details of the attack on the 16-year-old, as did Samuel Aldrich’s family.

The 19-year-old turned himself in to the police and confessed to burglary, rape and indecent assault.

The court found that the attack, which took place in May this year, was intentional.

Aldrich began planning four days in advance, taking photos of the victim’s home in Cheltenham.

Hours before the attack, he searched Google for pornographic material depicting sleeping girls.

Later that night, he broke into her yard and took off his shoes.

An hour later, he met the victim’s father and fled.

But within two hours he was back and terrorizing the victim.

The court heard the victim woke up to Aldrich kneeling by her bed.

She pinched herself to see if she was dreaming, but she wasn’t.

The judge described the next two hours as hell: “The victim was in her own home, in her own bed, and a complete stranger was sexually harassing her.

“It must have been terrifying.”

During this harrowing incident, the girl was digitally raped and sexually assaulted.

The attacker said he had a knife, and although she begged him to stop, she also spoke to the young man in the hope that he would not harm him further.

After the attack, Aldrich, who took photos of his victim’s genital area, spoke to the girl and offered her money.

He then escaped, but later surrendered to the police after seeing media reports.

The court heard that Aldrich suffers from autism spectrum disorder, is remorseful and has prospects for rehabilitation.

However, his defense could not explain why he attacked the girl.

Although he lived only 350 meters from the victim, he did not know her.

Aldrich will be sentenced next week.
