GBPH is looking for another dog involved in a recent biting incident

There has been another bite incident in the Gray Bruce area. Gray Bruce Public Health (GBPH) is looking for the dog and its owners.

On May 25, around 7:15 p.m., a teenager was bitten by a large black dog at Ed Taylor Park on 12th Avenue East.

GBPH reports that before the incident occurred, the teenager asked to pet the dog.

It is believed the dog’s name was Gus and that he was being walked by a couple with a smaller blonde dog. The blonde dog’s name is potentially Teddy.

GBPH tries to check the dog for rabies so that the victim can avoid rabies treatment after exposure.

Anyone with information is asked to contact GBPH at 519-376-9420 ext. 1355.
