Jharkhand Class 8 Board Result 2024 Declared on jac.jharkhand.gov.in, Steps to Check

The Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC) has announced the Class 8 examination result 2024. Students who were eagerly waiting for their marksheets can visit the official websites dedicated to the Jharkhand Academic Council at jac.jharkhand.gov.in and jacresults.com and download their results. The JAC Class 8 exam was held from March 16 this year.

Of these, 5,28,96 are commendable. This year, as many as 5,61,774 students of class 8 appeared for the exam. 2 students qualified for the exam. The board recorded an overall pass percentage of 94.16%.

Apart from the overall pass percentage, Jharkhand Board Class 8 Result 2024 also provides statistics for specific categories:

Marginal category: A total of 32,471 students were classified in the marginal category, which constitutes 5.78% of the candidates. These students are expected to receive additional instruction/opportunities from JAC to improve their performance.

Incomplete results: Results are currently incomplete for approximately 341 students. It is expected that the local government will soon announce further action against these students.

Jharkhand Board Class 8 Results 2024: Steps to Check

Step 1: Candidates need to visit the official website of JAC at jac.jharkhand.gov.in or jacresults.com.

Step 2: On the website, search and click on the link labeled JAC 8. Result 2024.

Step 3: Once completed, you will be redirected to a new page where you need to enter your roll number and date of birth.

Step 4: Hit the ‘Submit’ button and the JAC Class 8 mark sheet will be displayed on the screen.

Step 5: Save a copy of the result and print it for future reference.

  • Jharkhand Board Class 8 results are based on a five-point marking system, with each mark having an appropriate marking range. Students who score 80 percent or above receive a grade of A+, while students who score between 60 and 80 percent receive a grade of A. Similarly, a grade of B is awarded to those who achieve a score of 45 to 60 percent and a grade of C is awarded is those who scored between 33 and 45 percent. To pass the exam, each candidate must obtain a grade of at least C.
