Horrific photos show the crushed wreckage of a bus after it fell off a bridge on Wednesday.

Pakistani authorities reportedly said 22 more were injured in the crash.

A tragic accident occurred this morning in Washuk, western Pakistan.

Emergency services immediately arrived on site and transported the injured to a nearby hospital.

About 22 of these people later died from their injuries.

Some people in critical condition had to be transferred to another hospital in the large city of Quetta.

The footage from the scene shows an overturned bus lying in a ravine.

A crane was sent to the site to help contain the wreck.

The bus was carrying people from Gwadar to Quetta.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif expressed condolences to the families of the victims.

He said: “We stand with the bereaved families at this difficult time and express our sincere sympathy.”

Earlier in May, another passenger bus crashed in Pakistan, killing at least 20 people and injuring 21 others.

In eerily similar circumstances, he also veered off the road and fell into a rocky ravine.

A massive government rescue mission was launched, with military helicopters flying in to help.
