Police injured, 40 people arrested during pro-Palestinian protest in London – video | London

Scotland Yard said three police officers were injured and 40 people arrested during a pro-Palestinian protest in Westminster, central London, on Tuesday evening. One officer suffered serious facial injuries after being hit by a bottle thrown from the crowd. According to the police, the demonstration started around 6 p.m. and was to end at 8 p.m. Most of the crowd of around 10,000 left Whitehall without incident, but around 500 remained and police began making a number of arrests for non-compliance
