Police are appealing after a driver was ‘repeatedly punched’ at Sutton Coldfield traffic lights

Police have released a photo of a man they would like to speak to after attacking a driver in Sutton Coldfield. The brutal attack occurred on Minworth Island in Minworth on April 1 at approximately 3:30 p.m.

The victim was stopped at a traffic light and was hit multiple times. Police described the perpetrator as six feet tall, between 30 and 40 years old.




He wore a black jacket with white and gold fur around the hood, and was wearing a gold chain during the attack. West Midlands Police yesterday released a photo of a man they wanted to speak to after the attack.

A spokesman for the force said: “Do you know who this is? We would like to speak to him after the incident in which a driver was attacked.

“The victim was stopped at a traffic light after the perpetrator punched him multiple times. The incident occurred on Minworth Island in Minworth, Birmingham on April 1 at around 3.30pm.

“The perpetrator is described as being 6 feet tall, with facial hair, and between thirty and forty years old. He wears a black jacket with white and gold fur around the hood and a gold chain.
